Use daily for a shared point of reference
The daily game is selected from the question bank using the current UTC date. Players on the same version of the site receive the same ordered set for that date. That gives a daily result context: when a friend says they found today's game difficult, you can discuss the same seven prompts after both of you have finished.
The reset happens at midnight UTC, which may not be midnight where you live. Near the reset, check the date shown with your result before comparing it with someone else's. A friend in another time zone can have a different local date while still seeing the same UTC daily game. The date attached to the game's result is the useful reference.
Use unlimited practice for another chance to learn
Unlimited practice lets you start another seven-question game without waiting for the next day. Choose all categories for variety, or select one category to focus on a particular subject. The timer, answer recognition, and points are unchanged, so you can practice the same decisions you make in a daily run without needing the daily set to change.
Unlimited means you can keep starting runs; it does not mean the site contains an infinite number of questions. Our original bank is finite, and prompts can return in later sessions. Repetition can be useful for learning the boards, but it also changes how surprising a prompt feels. Keep that in mind when comparing a familiar practice run with someone's first encounter.
Choose a challenge when the exact questions matter
Two random practice runs may contain different categories and difficulties. A challenge link removes that difference by carrying a seed and category that select the same ordered questions. Each person plays independently, and then you compare results. It works well when you want a shared game later in the day or a focused category challenge with a friend.
A challenge is not a live room. The site does not wait for other people, show their answers in real time, or verify a global ranking. The shared link makes the question selection repeatable in the same site version. Keep answer spoilers out of the conversation until both players finish, then use the result board as a starting point for discussion.
Treat local records as a personal notebook
Your completed games are stored in this browser when local storage is available. That makes a quick return convenient without requiring an account, but it also means records belong to this device and browser. Another laptop, a private browsing window, or cleared site data can have a separate or empty history. The site does not promise account-level backup or synchronization.
For a balanced routine, play the daily set once, review the answers that surprised you, and add a practice run only if you feel like continuing. Use category practice to explore a weakness and mixed practice to keep variety. Your personal best can be a fun target, while the daily date and shared challenge seed keep comparisons with other people easier to understand.
